My Rating System

There's a new rating system in town and it's all about pigs. Because seriously, what's cuter than pigs?
This is just a standard 1-5 scale.
The higher the rating, the bigger the pigs get. Isn't that super exciting?!?
Really good  books just deserve to get a lot of pigs.

Examples from 1 to 5 pigs:

One pig!
=
I pretty much hated this book.

 Two pigs!
=
Didn't hate it, but I really didn't care for it that much.

 Three pigs!
=
It was okay. I didn't hate it, didn't love it, it's just...there.

 Four pigs!
=
Yes. I liked this book and would recommend it.

Five pigs!
=
One of the best books I've read. GO READ IT!!

HOWEVER.
There are also two other rating systems out there on my older reviews.
So here's an "aged review ratings" guide:

- The Really Old Ones:
The first ones are all on a 1-10 number scale which I realized left too much wiggle room, so I changed to a 1-5 scale.

- The Not-Quite-So-Old Ones:
My first attempt at a 1-5 scale had me going with thumbs ups because that's my signature move (no, not really). But I found this was awkward and didn't really make any sense (three thumbs up?) But here's that chart:

Alright. No more confusion? Awesome. :)

FYI: It's difficult to think of a rating system that's unique, fun, and makes sense. Hence my three tries. Kudos to those who have awesome-ly unique ones which seem effortless to onlookers!
